Strawberry Jam Camp

Kaitlyn has attended this camp for many years, and she has recently started helping as a junior instructor. Located in Strawberry Point, Iowa, the camp is a great place to learn how to jam, meet new people, and have fun! They also have a Songwriter's camp that Kaitlyn also attended, where you learn about songwriting and get to work with the instructors and other campers to write songs.

Backbone Bluegrass Festival

Kaitlyn has been going to the Backbone Bluegrass Festival every year since 2011, and it is her favorite festival to attend. It is one of the longest running Bluegrass Festivals in Iowa, having started in 1981. It is also located in Strawberry Point and starts directly after Strawberry Jam Camp.

Kalona Bluegrass Festival

The Kalona Bluegrass Festival is another one of Kaitlyn's favorite festivals. It is located in Kalona, Iowa, and it is a great place to jam and hear great music. One of her favorite memories about the festival is picking fresh mulberries and eating them on ice cream while listening to her friends and family jam together.
